Engel & Völkers Berlin Mitte is the most successful residential real estate location in Germany. The digital side did not show it. An outdated site, a dated identity, social and a backend that fought the people using them. Real estate is the most emotional and most expensive thing most people ever buy, and none of that was coming through online.
The work was a full digital and identity facelift, built on SPOT. It ran ahead of the brief. Engel & Völkers saw how well it performed, brought in a larger agency, and adopted the direction across the company. The new CI, the new typeface, the new website. The thinking started in Berlin.

The new look reaches a younger buyer through an editorial character and strong imagery. It sets the buying impulse earlier and holds the timelessness the premium position needs.

Social media templates, built for production, gave Engel & Völkers the tools to stand out in a market where 90% of property searches start online.

A brand film made with Friends of Friends: a refreshed identity that holds the Hanseatic seriousness of the headquarters next to the energy of Berlin.
90% of all search customers start their property search online.

Engel & Völkers Berlin Residential is one of Europe's most recognised luxury real estate brokerages. The brief was to rethink how properties are presented digitally, moving from static listings to an experience that matches the quality of the properties themselves.
The result was a digital presentation platform that leads with the visuals, cuts the friction, and reads as considered as what it shows. It performed well enough that the direction was adopted across the wider company.
