Vitra

Brand Strategy

"Good design improves the quality of life."

Brand strategy for Vitra: one of the world's most significant furniture and design brands, home to Eames, Prouvé, and generations of design history.

Vitra is one of the world's most important furniture brands, the home of Eames, Prouvé, Girard, and decades of design history. Working with a brand of this stature is about understanding what already works and finding the contemporary expression that lets it speak to new audiences.

We developed a brand strategy that honoured Vitra's design legacy while articulating their relevance for today, connecting their archive to contemporary design culture through editorial strategy and art direction.

01 — FvF Apartment, Berlin

A real apartment, furnished as a statement.

Together with Vitra, we created the FvF Apartment in Berlin-Mitte: a 65sqm flat furnished entirely with Vitra and Artek pieces, designed as a space for the community rather than a showroom. It hosted shoots, press days and dinners, and became a blueprint for how the brand's furniture lives in everyday spaces.

02 — Vitra Workbays App

A 3D configurator for a new way of working.

For the launch of Vitra Workbays, the micro-architectural system by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec, we conceived, designed and programmed a free iPad app. It lets users explore each Workbay from every angle, configure size, colour and interior elements in 3D, browse sample scenarios, and find nearby Vitra dealers.
