After years portraying creatives in their homes, the next step for Friends of Friends was to create one of its own. Friends Apartment, launched in 2014, is a 65sqm physical extension of the FvF platform — a space showcasing partner products and hosting the magazine's creative community for events, workshops and presentations.
Friends Space followed as a larger, modular venue on the first floor of a 350sqm design loft in Berlin-Kreuzberg, developed in collaboration with architect Philipp Mainzer. Open-plan and reconfigurable, it adapts to film and photo productions, dinners, talks and brand activations.
Two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and a living room set up for meetings or workshops — designed as a platform for products from FvF's network of friends and partners, and a venue for dinners, presentations and overnight stays.

Not just a platform for products, but a venue to gather.
An open-plan loft built around modular architecture and furniture, with a Siemens collaboration kitchen, a gallery-style modular lighting system, AV equipment and a Sonos surround sound system — adaptable to up to 200 guests.
Concept and interior design for two complementary Friends of Friends spaces: an apartment that brought the magazine's editorial world into a livable, bookable home, and a larger modular loft built to host productions, dinners and gatherings for the wider FvF community.
Both venues continue to host brand activations, dinners and productions for clients including Siemens, Sonos, Closed and Dr. Hauschka.
