Vitra Workbays iPad App
When we talk about projects that create true value, this is what we mean. We’re proud to introduce the Vitra Workbays iPad App - conceived, designed, baked and developed by us.
With Workbays, the French designers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec have created a micro-architectural office system that redefines the working environment and breaks the typical, rigid planning structure of offices.
We developed a detailed 3D app to reflect this. You can explore each unit of the multifunctional furniture system from every angle and adjust preferences to your individual needs by changing size, colour or the interior. It’s possible to go further and discover the versatility of the Vitra Workbays as the app demonstrates the variety of set up possibilities and how the Workbays can be combined or expanded to meet the requirements of every work space. You can also get inspiration for combinations and clusters with example scenarios, get in depth information about the product features and find a Vitra partner near you.

Website and content strategy for USM
We’re excited to share the website - Personalities by USM - and concept that we just finished for Modular Furniture brand USM. The idea is based on our own hatched project Freunde von Freunden and the content marketing model we developed for last year’s adidas Journeys. As USM liked both so much, they contacted us to come up with something tailored to them. We then designed a dedicated website that documents and tells the story of the people behind the furniture.
We brought in our daughter company, Freunde von Freunden, to handle all things content. Together, we planned each production and worked on an editorial strategy that rolled out into an ongoing series of beautifully curated portraits, giving insights into the USM brand and their biggest lovers.

"There’s little doubt that “do what you love” (DWYL) is now the unofficial work mantra for our time. The problem with DWYL, however, is that it leads not to salvation but to the devaluation of actual work—and more importantly, the dehumanization of the vast majority of laborers."

Pocket : Stop Saying “Do What You Love, Love What You Do.” It Devalues Actual Work.

"When who we are and what we do are one and the same, we are walking the road of Must. When we choose Must, what we create is ourselves. It is a body of work. When we make something because we Must, not just because we can, it is the difference between disposable products that last a few years and life-affirming movements that sustain generations."
